Within me, I carry an immense desire to bring my Brazilian roots to as many kitchens as possible in Brazil and around the world. From choosing ingredients to feed your family to welcoming guests and friends into your home—these acts are fundamental expressions of care, hospitality, and connection, shaping social bonds and traditions through the shared experience of food, making homes feel welcoming and fostering community.

Essentially, it's a holistic act of love, belonging, and cultural transmission through the universal language of food.

From Brazil to the world

Giovana Nacarato was born in Ribeirão Preto, in the interior of São Paulo State. After graduating in Business Administration from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), she pursued Gastronomy at Estácio de Sá – Alain Ducasse Formation in 2014.

Her first professional kitchen experience was at the acclaimed Kinoshita in São Paulo. She worked at Dui with Chef Bel Coelho and at La Mar. She enjoyed it so much that she went to Peru to cook at Astrid&Gastón and Malabar.

She returned to Brazil eager for new aromas and became Event Director at Mocotó Restaurant, working closely with Chef Rodrigo Oliveira for 3 years. Later, Giovana traveled to different states in Brazil, such as Belém do Pará and Belo Horizonte, sharing her culinary vision and learning about regional cuisines. During this time, she competed in the second season of Mestre do Sabor, a nationwide culinary reality show on TV Globo, finishing in the top 10.

For the past 9 years, Chef Giovana Nacarato has worked as Executive Chef at Quina do Futuro, a multi-award-winning Japanese culinary group, alongside Chef Saburó. Her role focuses on improving workflows in kitchen and production, ensuring excellence through continuous improvement in processes, quality assurance, team performance, and hospitality.
